Privacy Policy
Static Society is a clothing brand based in Beirut, Lebanon. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website, why we collect it, and who it goes to. It describes what we actually do, and nothing more.
Our store runs on Shopify, which hosts the site and processes orders on our behalf.
What we collect
When you place an order: your name, delivery address, phone number, email address, and the details of what you ordered.
When you pay: if you pay online, your payment is handled by Shopify’s payment providers. We never see or store your full card details. If you pay cash on delivery, no card information is collected at all.
When you subscribe: your email address, if you choose to join our list.
When you browse: basic technical information collected automatically by Shopify — your device type, browser, IP address, and which pages you viewed. This is standard analytics and isn’t linked to a name unless you order.
When you contact us: whatever you send us in a message.
Why we collect it
• To take, prepare and deliver your order
• To give the courier the name, address and phone number needed to reach you, including for cash on delivery
• To reply to your messages
• To send you emails about new releases, but only if you asked us to
• To keep the store working and protect it from fraud
• To keep records we’re required to keep
We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it with advertisers.
Who we share it with
• Shopify, which hosts our store and processes orders
• Payment providers, if you pay online
• Delivery couriers, who receive your name, address and phone number so they can deliver to you
• Our email provider, if you subscribed to our list
• Authorities, only where we’re legally required to
Nobody else.
Cookies
Shopify uses cookies so your cart works, so you stay logged into checkout, and to record basic visit statistics. You can block cookies in your browser, but parts of the store — the cart in particular — will stop working.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as we need them for accounting, and to resolve any dispute about an order. If you subscribed to emails, we keep your address until you unsubscribe.
Your choices
• Unsubscribe from emails using the link at the bottom of any email we send
• Ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — message us and we’ll do it
We won’t treat you differently for asking.
Children
Our store isn’t intended for children, and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Where your information goes
Shopify and our other providers may store and process information outside Lebanon. By using the store you understand that this is the case.
Changes
We may update this policy. The version published on this page is the one that applies.
